AP Inlets and Baffles

AP inlets and baffles combine the durability of corrosion resistant hardware with intuitive designs for effective air movement and ease of use. All models are simple to install and easy to maintain. AP also offers all the controls you need to keep your ventilation system operating at optimal efficiency.

Ceiling Inlets
Each unit has a high quality plastic housing. The polyurethane baffles and stainless steel hardware make this a totally corrosion-proof piece of equipment. These bi-flow inlets come in two sizes; 1000 CFM and 2700 CFM (see chart). They are also available with a laminated baffle for easy cleaning. Adjustable locking lever allows the unit to be shut off or restricted as needed. This inlet is designed to have air travel along the ceiling in winter, yet have the ability to be directed at the livestock in the summer. Insulation stops are included to make framing easy. Counterweighted Baffle
The counterweighted baffle system allows the 12" baffle to become automatic without the use of a static pressure control. This system is ideal for use in areas like preheated hallways, etc. Specifications: 3,000 CFM R.O. 46-1/2" Width X 13-1/2" Height.

The butterfly style allows for air to be directed in both directions and dropped straight down on the livestock as needed.

C2000 Ceiling Air Inlet
This ceiling inlet made of ABS plastic can be used year round. AS a result of the inlet being four sided, room temperature is more consistent and air distribution is improved. The C2000 is insulated, therefore reducing condensation. Operating automatically off of the negative pressure supplied by the exhaust fans eliminates the need for manual controls, cables or pulleys. Pressure washing is simple with the all plastic construction.

Adjust-a-Baffle™
From the originators of the plastic adjustable air baffle comes the finest most versatile baffle type air delivery system available. One-inch thick polystyrene with a rugged fiberglass coating fastened to UV stabilized PVC channels make any size a possibility. A flexible PVC hinge and sealing strip slide into the PVC channel making installation a snap. Adjust-a-Baffle™ is available in 8", 10", 12", 16", 18", 20" and 24" sizes.

BIL3000/4000 Air Inlets
The BIL 3000 and 4000 inlets are second stage shutter type air inlets to be used in hallway to room application. As second stage inlets, they do not open until the first stage ceiling inlets are at optimal operation. When these inlets are opened, air is directed upward then gradually moves horizontally.

Automatic Wall Inlets
These 1250 cfm inlets are molded of tough plastic for long life, operate automatically by negative pressure and require little attention from the operator. The system consists of two parts; the outside hood (shown right) and the inside balanced door. When the system fans are operating, the inside unit opens automatically to provide required circulation. A second door is provided for latching closed during winter. Both inside and outside parts are designed to secure directly to the building walls.

Inlet and Baffle Controls
AP's inlet and baffle controls allow you to better manage the complexities of facility ventilation and zone specific temperature conditions.

		Auto-Air Actuator The Auto-Air Actuator gives precise control of automated air inlets or baffles. This powerful unit features 24" of travel and 600 pound lift capacity. The corrosion resistant galvanized frame and water resistant junction box allows for simple installation in a variety of applications. The actuators internal potentiometer communications with any Airstream control through the PF-6 and Auto-Air Actuator work together to adjust to the correct air inlet position for all stages of ventilation providing optimum environmental control.

		PF-6 and Potentiometer The PF-6 control when combined with a baffle system opens a whole new set of doors in the air inlet arena. The PF-6 controls a power drive unit by temperature, not static pressure. This allows for a great deal more versatility and better temperature control differential in different zones within large rooms. You can also have your inlets travel to preset positions throughout the different fan stages. This new state-of-the-art precision is very economical, yet has the accuracy needed ot handle the most critical situations

DEL-Air Inlets

DEL-AIR inlets are designed to allow 1000-3000 cubic feet per minute (cfm) of fresh air brought from your ceiling, hallway or exterior side wall. Spring loaded versions allow for an adjustable resistance to air flow. Precision control is made possible with cable-controlled assemblies, controlled in tandem with fan airflow.
