The Wet/Dry Sow feeder optimizes feed intake during the critical production phase. By bringing together the advantage of a wet/dry feeder and adaptability to suit the individual personality of each sow, the sows consume more feed and produce more milk. Healthy sows produce healthier litters.

• Sows eat more and waste less- The nipple is placed low in the feeder to provide ample water with minimal wastage. By placing the water nipple in the feed compartment, sows do not have to remove their head from the feeder to get water. The result means that sows have 6.0% greater average daily feed intake with minimal wastage. The sows with greater daily feed intake produce more milk.

• Adjusts to Each Sow's Appetite- An adjustment slide can  be set to suit each sow, wider for the slow eaters and tighter for those with more aggressive appetites. The feeder pan is curved and the nipple placement is low so that water accumulation is minimized.

• Heavier Litters, More Piglets- The pigs get the essential start that they need.

• Design features- All 304 stainless steel. Easy to adjust. Easy to clean. Available in 12" and 15" models that fit most farrowing crates. Feed capacity is 18lbs and 23lbs (8.2kg and 10.4kg), respectively.
